  • The Prophet (ﷺ) said:“When one of you eats, let him mention the name of Allah.” (Tirmidhi)

  • The Prophet (ﷺ) advised:“The son of Adam does not fill any vessel worse than his stomach.” (Tirmidhi)
  • Follow the 1/3rd rule: ⅓ for food, ⅓ for water, ⅓ for air.

3. Eat Wholesome & Natural Foods

  • Dates, honey, olive oil, milk, barley, and pomegranates are highly recommended in Islam.

4. Avoid Wastefulness & Overeating

  • Do not eat excessively or waste food.
  • Share meals with others whenever possible.
