Introduction
Conflicts are a natural part of life, but Islam teaches us to handle them with wisdom, patience, and justice.
1. Stay Calm & Control Anger
- The Prophet (ﷺ) said:“The strong person is not the one who overcomes others by his strength, but the one who controls himself while in anger.” (Bukhari)
- Seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan when feeling angry.
2. Use Gentle & Respectful Words
- Avoid insulting or raising your voice.
- Allah commands:“And speak to people kindly…” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:83)
3. Listen with an Open Heart
- Allow the other person to express their feelings.
- Understand their perspective before reacting.
4. Seek Mediation if Needed
- If conflicts persist, involve a wise family member or a scholar for resolution.
- The Quran encourages reconciliation and fairness (Surah An-Nisa 4:35).
5. Forgive & Move Forward
- Let go of grudges and focus on repairing relationships.
- The Prophet (ﷺ) said:“He who does not forgive will not be forgiven.” (Bukhari)
